  1. Our procedure bylaw allows for each distinct part of a motion to be considered separately at the request of the member. No motion needed. My question relates to separation of the question. If the Question is moved and seconded " That the Board congratulate the writer Mary Mack on their award they received for their book and that the Board purchase 9 books for the membership." and a member asks for division of the question does each motion now need to be moved and seconded? THAT the Board congratulate the writer Mary Mack on their award they received for their book. THAT the Board purchase 9 books for the membership. I ask because we have complicated voting rights. Sometimes all members vote on motions and sometimes only some members vote on items that pertain to them.
