Internal Message System

For what it is worth, it is possible for someone other than the initiator of a member-to-member message to delete a message that has come to him/her.

This seems to me to be something of a defect in the system.

It could lead to abuse if a question came to me that I didn't care to answer or acknowledge -- I could just delete it and then claim "What message?"

There's no "sent" folder where the message would remain?

In any case, if it's anything like e-mail, is there ever any proof that a message was received? I know that I often delete messages without reading them (and, in fact, without downloading anything but the "header").

Of course as a "guest" I'm just speculating here.
