Voting After Loss of Quorum

At a recent meeting, there was a quorum present when the meeting was called to order. Throughout the meeting, members left. By the time we had to take a vote on some business matters, there was no longer a quorum so a vote was not taken.

Are we able to vote via email with the members that were present at the beginning of the meeting (this would be a quorum)? Or must we include every member of the Board (even the ones who were not present at the meeting at all)?

You can't vote by e-mail at all unless your bylaws authorize you to do so. If your bylaws authorize voting by e-mail, every member of the board must be included unless your bylaws provide otherwise.
