Revisiting a topic for voting

If a board of directors has voted and made a decision on an issue, can the general membership override the decision and allow the entire body of membership to vote rather than just the board?

 

Perhaps.  " Except in matters placed by the bylaws exclusively under the control of the board, the society's assembly can give the board instructions which it must carry out, and can rescind or amend any action of the board if it is not too late (see Section 35)"  RONR (11th ed), p. 483

 

Your bylaws should spell out what matters are exclusively under control of the board, if any.
