Guest Conor Harvey Posted November 21, 2014 at 03:34 AM Report Share Posted November 21, 2014 at 03:34 AM Today at a meeting where we follow the latest version Robert's Rules of Order I was told that all votes on expenditures must be done through a rollcall vote. There is nothing in our Constitution or By-Laws which states this. After the members who argued this point were disproved they refered Robert's Rules, but only stating that they think it was in there. Am I correct in believing that Robert's Rules of Order does not require an organization to perform a rollcall vote when voting on expenditures unless otherwise specified by governing documents? Thank you.

Gary Novosielski Posted November 21, 2014 at 06:17 AM Report Share Posted November 21, 2014 at 06:17 AM If all the nonsense that people, from time to time, claim is in RONR were actually in there, it would be 7000 pages long and completely incoherent, contradicting itself more often than not.
