Richard Brown Posted March 19, 2015 at 02:28 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2015 at 02:28 PM I agree with Josh, but if this is a public body, I urge you to check carefully your municipal charter, state law, and the board's own rules governing the board. It has been my experience that a law or rule of some sort outside of RONR usually controls in those situations. Whereas in most private organizations, a quorum is based on the actual number of members, with public bodies the quorum is often based on the entire authorized membership of the body.
