So, any rules regarding proxies must be found in your own governing documents. If there are no such rules, there are no proxies, and the question about who may carry them becomes moot. Not necessarily. As FAQ #10 notes, "federal, state, or other laws applicable to the society [might] require" the acceptance of proxies regardless of what the bylaws say.
