Are all officers of the organization required to be identified by the Bylaws and to have position description and job duties documented?

"Officers"?

Yes.

If a position is not defined in your bylaws as an officer position, then the party who holds that position cannot be considered an officer. (Unless that party "wears more than one hat", and thus is an officer by virtue of the second position so held.)

"... to be identified by the bylaws and to have positions description and job duties documented?"

No.

There will be a miscellaneous number of tasks which will not be mentioned in your bylaws.

Classic examples:

   • Newsletter Editor

   • Sergeant-At-Arms

These are done typically as if they were a "committee-of-one".

There is no need to clutter your bylaws with such positions.

The people who serve in these capacities are not officers (unless your bylaws define the positions as officer positions.) -- But you are certainly free to elect/appoint sitting officers to fulfill these classic positions. -- To wear more than one hat.
