Pursuant to our Board Rules, the Board has the authority to defer agenda items presented for consideration while the executive director maintains control of what appears on the agenda. jstackpo Posted February 21, 2017 at 09:45 PM Report Share Posted February 21, 2017 at 09:45 PM If you have correctly paraphrased you bylaws, and they really do give the ExecDir complete control over your meeting agenda, then you will have to amend the bylaws to remove that control. But I'll bet, if you just make a (new) motion during new business, your association will be free to consider and vote on the matter, whatever it may be.
