Guest Peggy Posted March 8, 2017 at 03:12 PM Report Share Posted March 8, 2017 at 03:12 PM Person volunteering to serve on the nominating committee was determined ineligible after meeting was over. How do I correct?
George Mervosh Posted March 8, 2017 at 03:15 PM Report Share Posted March 8, 2017 at 03:15 PM You don't correct anything. Minutes aren't supposed to rewrite history. An epiphany after the meeting doesn't mean a thing, procedurally. At the next meeting, if the Board deals with the matter, you would note the actions taken then. Bruce Lages Posted March 8, 2017 at 03:16 PM Report Share Posted March 8, 2017 at 03:16 PM You don't. If it didn't happen in a meeting, it doesn't belong in the minutes. If this person is declared ineligible and replaced on the committee at the next board meeting (which is where such action should take place), it will be noted in those minutes.
