When matters are brought up, discussed and sometimes a motion is made, is this subject put under Unfinished Business or under New Business on the next meeting agenda? Because we discuss a topic and schedule it for the next meeting, these have been put under New Business and someone said it should be under Unfinished Business. Trying to do what is right and looking for some advice. RONR p 26, ll 14-19 says 5. Unfinished Business and General Orders (that is, matters which have come over from the preceding meeting or which have been scheduled for the present meeting). 6. Discussion items in the Yahoo discussion list is no different from having informal discussions over the phone or in a coffee shop or in a bar with other members.
