wesleyjr Posted March 24, 2017 at 11:49 AM Report Share Posted March 24, 2017 at 11:49 AM At our recent meeting, a motion was made, seconded and passed. Now many members are scratching their heads saying, why did we do this? Is there a procedure to repeal a motion? This is not covered in our constitution nor standing by-laws. If so, could a reference be made? I thank you in advance.

Transpower Posted March 25, 2017 at 02:04 PM Report Share Posted March 25, 2017 at 02:04 PM Use the motion "Rescind or Amend Something Previously Adopted"; this motion requires a 2/3 vote or a majority if notice is given or a majority of the entire membership.
