Guest Tanja Rourke Posted April 5, 2017 at 04:53 PM Report Share Posted April 5, 2017 at 04:53 PM If a current executive officer, who has 1 year remaining in their term, runs for another executive position at the AGM. If they are non successful in the election of the new position, do they still continue in their current position to the end of their term? jstackpo Posted April 5, 2017 at 04:54 PM Report Share Posted April 5, 2017 at 04:54 PM No rule in RONR would prevent him/her from holding on to the position, after the failed election.
Guest Tanja Rourke Posted April 5, 2017 at 05:16 PM Report Share Posted April 5, 2017 at 05:16 PM Thank you jstackpo. That's what I was assuming. I could not find any information in the Society's Act either. And its not a criteria in when an officer ceases to hold a position, or uner resignations.
