aprroval of annual meeting minutes

We hold an annual meeting with all members invited to attend with monthly board meetings. Should the minutes of the annual meeting be approved by the board or should they be approved at the next annual meeting?

I'd go with the membership - its their Minutes of their meeting.  But I remember something about the Board, or another group doing so because of the time interval.  Someone else will give you a more concrete response.

"When the next regular business session will not be held within a quarterly time interval (see pp. 89–90), and the session does not last longer than one day, or in an organization in which there will be a change or replacement of a portion of the membership, the executive board or a committee appointed for the purpose should be authorized to approve the minutes."  RONR (11th ed.), pp. 474-475  

That authorization is not automatic.  The assembly decides whether the board or a committee will do it.
