Guest Robin Posted May 15, 2017 at 02:29 PM Report Share Posted May 15, 2017 at 02:29 PM We have two in person board meetings and have just added two teleconference board calls annually. Are teleconference board meetings handled the same way with respect to the preliminaries? Will we need to approve the agenda and approve the minutes from our last in person meeting or save that for our next in person meeting? Gary Novosielski Posted May 15, 2017 at 02:35 PM Report Share Posted May 15, 2017 at 02:35 PM Do you have authorized teleconference board meetings in your bylaws, or alternatively, are they pre-authorized by state regulations, if any, covering your type of organization? If not, you can't do business that way. If so, the order of business would remain unchanged, to the extent possible. Special situations can be handled with special rules of order adopted by the general assembly, or included in your bylaws.
