Guest Barbara Posted July 18, 2017 at 06:38 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2017 at 06:38 PM The organization that I belong to 90 days ago made a motion to start eviction procedures to a person. Now the 90 days are up and they want to extend it for 30 days. This was done with out notice to the group or the person. Can this be done this way? Does the person that made the original motion need to do the extension? Thank you fro your help.
Richard Brown Posted July 18, 2017 at 06:46 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2017 at 06:46 PM More information as to the type of organization this is and exactly what is going on would be helpful. However, any member may make a motion to amend or modify the previous motion or to grant an extension, assuming it is within the organization's power to do so. The person who made the original motion has no control over it and has no more say so than any other member. As to what kind of notice is required, we need a lot more information in order to answer that question.
SaintCad Posted July 18, 2017 at 10:01 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2017 at 10:01 PM Also the extension may have been for legal reasons outside of RONR
