board minutes

i was the secretary at the time of a meeting and have since resigned. the minutes of the last meeting i attended were rewritten and no longer accurately reflect what happened at the meeting. in fact they were rewritten to the extent that there untruths in the minutes. what, if anything, can be done?

If they haven't been approved yet a member (you if still a member of the assembly) can offer corrections to reflect what was done. The Chair should seek unanimous consent for the corrections. However, if there is an objection (which there very well might be given the minutes were rewritten) the assembly would vote. Majority rules.

If the minutes have already been approved a member can move to Amend Something Previously Adopted (RONR pp. 293-299).
