David A Foulkes Posted March 31, 2012 at 10:51 PM Report Share Posted March 31, 2012 at 10:51 PM No vote should be taken on the approval (not acceptance) of the minutes, and therefore a motion to approve them is unnecessary. The secretary reads the minutes, the chair asks for any corrections (adopted by unanimous consent or majority vote), and then announces the minutes approved.Participation in the approval of the minutes (corrections is what we're really talking about) is not restricted only to members who were present at the previous meeting.
