Can a person hold two voting positions? For example Treasurer ( which is an officer in the by laws ) and Immediate past present (which is an executive board member in the by laws )

RONR (11th ed.), p. 407, ll. 2-6:  "...each person who is a member of a deliberative assembly is entitle to one--and only one--vote on a question.  This is true even if a person is elected or appointed to more than one position, each of which would entitle the holder to a vote."

Yes, but he only gets one vote.

Check your bylaws, however.  Some associations do have a "one position" limit; RONR does not have such a limit (except in the case of President/Vice President (make no sense to combine) and President/Secretary - both are "essential" - p. 22.

Treasurer & IPP is not a problem.
