Guest Vicki Posted July 28, 2017 at 08:25 PM Report Share Posted July 28, 2017 at 08:25 PM Can a Husband and a Wife serve on the Executive Board at the same time? As an example; Husband as President and Wife as Secretary. She would not have any signing privileges on the bank accounts or access to any of the money. Greg Goodwiller, PRP Posted July 28, 2017 at 08:34 PM Report Share Posted July 28, 2017 at 08:34 PM Nothing in Robert's Rules prohibits it. So if there is nothing in the bylaws or other rules of your organization, then yes.
Rev Ed Posted July 28, 2017 at 09:06 PM Report Share Posted July 28, 2017 at 09:06 PM Nothing in RONR prohibits a husband and wife from serving on the Board at the same time. Only the By-laws or applicable statute (law) can prohibit the situation.
