Guest TerryM Posted September 15, 2017 at 06:18 AM Report Share Posted September 15, 2017 at 06:18 AM We are filling a vacancy on our Executive Board which our By-laws state will be voted on by our Board of Directors. There is a member who wishes to be nominated but will be unable to attend the meeting where the nominations and voting will take place. There is nothing in our by-laws which states you must be present. I have checked my Robert's Rules 11th Edition and cannot find anything on this. Is there anything to prevent this member from being nominated and possibly elected?
