Guest Guuest Posted December 31, 2017 at 08:04 PM Report Share Posted December 31, 2017 at 08:04 PM Our Mayor has veto rights. Can a councilman that abstained from the original vote participate in the veto vote? Thank you!
jstackpo Posted December 31, 2017 at 08:24 PM Report Share Posted December 31, 2017 at 08:24 PM RONR doesn't deal with veto powers. Check your local ordinances. If this was a "pure" RONR question, then the answer would be "Yes"; a previous abstention (or indeed any vote for or against) does not prevent a member from casting a future vote.
