A packet of information concerning a member of an organization of which I am a member has been distributed and the President of the Board stated:

"Where the bylaws are silent, we rely on Roberts Rules of order which require confidentiality to protect the person charged."

Is there such a Rule and if so where can it be found. I have a copy of the Rules and have been unable to find such a requirement but my copy dates back to 1951.

Thank you,

Harris

Thanks Bob,

Since there is a Barnes & Noble a block away, with your suggestion I was able to quickly find the information I needed. BTW, the 1951 copy I have is from when I was the Parliamentarian at my college fraternity. First time I have referred to it since the early 50's - brought back a lot of memories.

Harris
