One of our board members of our not-for-profit/charitable board of directors suggested that we use a Consent Agenda. Rather than reading and reviewing reports at the meeting, the reports would be available ahead of time for board members to peruse. A motion would then be placed to approve all of the reports included in the Consent Agenda. If a board member wanted to discuss a report, then it would be pulled from the Consent Agenda.
