  3. . Thanks for your respone . Yes If any vacancy occurs the board can fill with te simple majority for the left over term of resigned trustee

  5. In our 16 members of baord of trustess 6 trustees resigned. Our bylaws does say anything about resignations how to accept or not. My questions is if the board is not accpeting the resignations what will happen? Do they continue? if so how long? Thanks in advance
  6. Ours is a not for profit organization. We have 16 memebrs in our board. I wonder how many minutes each member can talk on each item and who decides the total duration of the meeting? would you please share the relevent pages in RR on this subject. Thanks In advance
  7. Thanks Josh, Also is it wrong to ask the secretary to add an agenda item 7days in advance? He is making an issue about it asking in advance
  8. Ours is a not for profit organization. Our board contains 16 trustees. There is nothing mentioned in our bylaws about when do one can add an agenda item for the monthly board meetings. I wonder what is the general rule or procedure for adding an agenda item and how many days in advance we can do that. Thanks in advance

  10. Our bylaws does not say anything about time limit on discussion on a motion. If we want to limit discussion on each agenda item what is the procedure? On which pages of R R XI edition I can find more information? Thanks in advance

Our not for profit organization has the following provisions : The Chairperson of CPP ( Council of Past Presidents) shall be an ex‐officio member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee without voting privileges. The Chairperson of the Council shall present a report to the General Body at its annual meeting or duly called special meeting. My question is whether CPP chair participate in the discussions and give advises on bylaws and constitution issues even though he is an ex officio member?
  13. Our not for profit organization recently passed a resolution in the board to reopen the temple on May 11th 2020 for public after our Illinois Governor relaxed lock down conditions . Here is the wording of resolution " to open the temple to devotees for a minimum of 4 four hours starting May 11, 2020 without violating the Governor’s guidelines." But our president sent a note to all trustees the temple opening is delayed and the temple was not opened for public on May 11th. My question is to open temple on a different date do we need a new resolution? Thanks in Advance Jayadev

  16. In our not for profit organization bylaws it says we have to put aside 10% total cash receipts towards Trust fund. But during this lock down we do not have enough funds to put 10% how do we suspend this rule? Thanks in advance

Our rules does not say about electronic meetings, but it does say trustees can attend meetings through phone, and also president can take approval of all trustees through emails if there is an urgent matter but does not say about a meeting where all trustees are on the phone and how to recognize any one who wants to be recognized Thnaks
