I understand if qualified can run for the office of President, however the concern is the Conflict of Interest with respect to Salary and decision making of the Final Authority being the President. Does the manager choose which to keep, that is if she is elected?

Several of the members of our Organization feel this is a Conflict of Interest, in fact want it in the By-Laws as such. However because Elections are within days, we are confronted with the decision making soon. They're looking for a resolution.
