  1. A previous secretary omitted putting a motion in the minutes by mistake. We are are sure the motion was made but unfortunately we do not remember who made it or 2nd it as it was a couple years ago and under different officers. How do we remedy this situation?
  2. thank you...I appreciate the information
  3. can anyone give me a sample of how the by laws (or constitution) should read if we were to add a section about removing officers. Our officers are elected ....we want to add something so we could remove an officer that is not performing their duties This is what our by-laws say now: The elective officers of this Federation shall be a president, a first and second vice-president and a treasurer, all of whom shall be elected by ballot, unless there is but a single nomination for each office, at the annual meeting of the Federation, and shall serve for one year. Each officer may be re-elected once except for the treasurer who may be re-elected as often as feasible. Any help in this matter would be appreciated greatly
  4. OK thank you...I was afraid that was going to be the response...thanks again

  6. Our by-laws do not contain a way to remove the president when she is not fulfilling her duties. Our President is elected by representatives of the membership. We are a non-profit organization and incorporated. We follow Robert Rules of Order What is the proper procedure to remove her from office?
