  1. Thanks George....that’s the closest I could find too, but no mention of minutes....that the initial and continuation meetings have one combined minute, or not.
  2. I have scanned through my copy RR and can find only obscure instructions regarding the “adjournment” and “continuation” of a meeting that has gone over its allotted time. Can the non-addressed questions from an original meeting agenda that are addressed at a second meeting classify the second meeting as a “continuation”? If so, can the minutes from the combined meeting be provided at the next scheduled meeting?
  3. You have me to rights. I don’t have a copy but I will now, so thanks for shaming me into buying one and READING it! That said, I truly appreciate your opinion and those of previous respondents. Again, thanks. TheFessor. Ha.... Is there a procedure? Does the chair adjourn the meeting until the offending member leaves, or reschedules? I’m trying to ascertain the legitimate RR compliant course of action.

  5. What’s the definition of “published minutes”? Does it mean published solely to the members, or available to the public at large?
  6. Thanks for your responses everyone....I appreciate your time.

  8. George...when you say "The bottom line is, the assembly decides if non members may attend or speak.", is it your view that the decision to allow the non-member advisor can be a majority, or must it be unanimous?
  9. Sorry....don't have the 11th edition. Can you excerpt it for me please?
  10. I can't find any rule that allows or prohibits outside advisors such as attorneys or accountants who represent the association attending and contributing to member meetings. Is there a rule that covers this?
