Our fair By-laws state that a member must be in good standing for 2 years prior to being eligible to run for an executive office...
The requirement to be "in good standing" is to attend 50% of the meeting during the fiscal year....
the question is does the year that you meet the meeting requirements count as one of the years? the interpretation currently is that a member must be a voting member for two years to meet the requirement to run for a board seat.
any help guidance would be appreciated!
