I have looked in 2 versions of Robert's Rules and cannot find this statement in relation to the Chair ruling motions out of order: "However, there is no requirement for the chair to take a regular motion, so he or she can refuse for any reason or none at all." If it is in the Rules, please let me know where I could find it. thanks, Aileen
