Thank you, much easier than I thought!

It was discovered that a construction item requiring approval from the board, that although discussed many times had actually never been placed on the agenda for a vote. The construction is in the process of being completed. Board members erroneously assumed it had been previously approved and now want to approve it after the fact. How can this be accomplished?
