Im trying to help an organztion write standing rules regarding absentee ballots Bylaws allow for absentee ballot , but organztion does not know how to handle the process of the absentee ballot. Some of their questions are : What if there is an amendment ? Do all the absentee ballots get thrown out ? Do the absentee ballot count towards quorum ? Do ballots get counted with live votes ?

We have had three board members resign this month ( president, president elect and nominating chair ). We currently only have four remaking officers on the board. Term ends may 31st for these four ladies. our bylaws state we need no less than five . can the remaining four members vote on items and do official business ?

Our organization bylaws state that the nominating committee will put forth a slate for the general membership to vote on. our Current president is saying the Board can approve or not approve the slate before it is presented to the membership. we have never done that before , the nominating committee has always presented the slate as a courteous the board. who is correct ?
