tomt Posted February 4, 2011 at 10:37 PM Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 at 10:37 PM Our club by-laws state dues are payable in advance of the January meeting. They do not mention a grace period or when the individual will be dropped if not paid. Is there a general rule clarifying this. Our by-laws will be ammended in the future. Thanks, Tom
hmtcastle Posted February 4, 2011 at 10:54 PM Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 at 10:54 PM Is there a general rule clarifying this. The general rule is that non-payment of dues (i.e. being "in arrears") is not enough to deprive a member of his rights as a member. They are not attending meetings.
