All 4 officiers resign at same time

Our PTA bylaws state what to do if 1 officer resigns, but the Pres, VP, Sec, and Tres resign on the same day. We can appoint the sec and tres, but must have a membership vote to elect a pres and vp, with a 30 day meeting notice to the membership. Is there a prevision for something such as this? An emergency type of provision? We need help, and fast....

Follow the rule for pres and vp and you should be fine. I am not implying that it is perfect, just that it can work.

You can live without a vice-president until one is elected and you can elect a chair pro tem (a temporary "president") to preside at meetings until you elect a president. So it looks like you're good to go.

You're bigger problem is why you elected four people who all decided to abandon their responsibilities at the same time. One hopes you'll make better choices next time.
