Guest Jeffery Sherman Posted March 14, 2011 at 01:06 AM Report Share Posted March 14, 2011 at 01:06 AM A member made a radical, irrational motion at a particularly chaotic meeting. The chair could have ruled the maker of the motion out of order but did not do so. The motion passed. Subsequently, various members challenge the motion as invalid and unenforceable. Is there a procedure for rescinding or revoking the action? Note: the motion was made, seconded and voted on in generally the same way as all others are in our meetings.
