Bylaws reference in Constitution

Hello, reworking our Constitution and Bylaws at church. This may not be a Robert's type question, however, we have a constitution and we have bylaws. Is is appropriate to refer to a specific section of the bylaws in the constitution? Thanks

Beware, as this may raise issues of correspondence in the future if a material were added or deleted that resulted in runumbering the sections. If you have much back-and-forth referencing, you might consider merging both documents and calling them your bylaws. Problem solved.

Since the constitution should be more difficult to change than the bylaws, it's not logical for the more permanent constitution to refer to a section of the more temporary bylaws, but, as George notes, it violates no rule of RONR.
