successive executive sessions

Our board needs to discuss the passing of 4 past board sessions' minutes each held in executive session and a member discipline problem. Do we call a special meeting of the board and then break into 4 successive executive sessions?

You can conduct the entire meeting in executive session and, in fact, RONR notes that many boards meet exclusively in executive session.

But minutes aren't "passed", they're approved. And the only thing to discuss about them would be errors in fact that should be corrected.

It is more free-form than that.

You need not have a one-to-one correspondence of (a.) executive session, to (b.) minutes to be approved.

Just go into executive session, handle all business which needs such secrecy, then end the executive session. -- Or continue, since it violates no rule for a board to hold 100% of its meeting in executive session.
