Presentation of Treasurer's Report

This may be a molehill trying to become a mountain. If the Treasurer of an organization is absent from one or both of the semiannual physical meetings of the Board, but has prepared a written report, is there a proper method to present the report to the Board at the meeting? Can copies of the written document simply be distributed and some member in attendance (the President, perhaps, or someone else?) introduce the report?

I agree, I don't think it's anything you need to fuss about. Just as minutes generally (that is, unless there is an objection) don't need to be read aloud when everybody has already read a copy, I don't even think the report needs to be introduced, per se. The chairman might say, "The next Officer's Report is the Treasurer's. You all have copies; does anyone need it read aloud? ... Good: Madame Secretary, please file your copy. The next Officer's Report is that of the Crocodile Herder, who seems to be still missing."

[Edited to put in a missing apostrophe.]

[and duplicate post deleted.]
