Guest Lou Posted June 7, 2011 at 07:51 PM Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 at 07:51 PM The Chairman of the Executive Board I'm on started to take votes on motions through phone calls at first and is now taking votes through e-mail. Our By-laws doesn't cover any of this, nor does our Constitution. I know Roberts rules doesn't allow e-mail, what about the phone calls and how would I go about correcting this. If you want to invalidate the motions, you should raise a Point of Order and an Appeal, if necessary. If you wish to adopt them properly, you should make a motion to Ratify. Either way, this should be done at a proper, in-person meeting.
