Guest Dennis Posted August 2, 2011 at 02:24 AM Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 at 02:24 AM Hi, We have not been able to get enough people to our regular meetings to make a quorum. There are motions for standing club rules changes that need to be addressed. At what point can the board take up the matters at a board meeting? Club business is at a stand still because we can never get a quorum at a regular meeting. Thanks for the help.Dennis
Josh Martin Posted August 2, 2011 at 02:30 AM Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 at 02:30 AM At what point can the board take up the matters at a board meeting? If the board is authorized to adopt standing rules, it can take up the matters at any time. If it is not authorized to adopt standing rules, it can't take them up. The board's authority is not affected by the passage of time (unless you have some very odd Bylaws).
