My employer has now asked me to join an un-represented class due to my access to confidental documents that could be an issue with my role on the board. The Board and our consultant has decided to fight my employer and their offer to bring me into the un-represented group. On the board agenda they put this issue on the closed session portion (which I think is wrong) and have excluded me from the meeting so they can discuss it "candidly" without my presence. I don't think this is allowed under Roberts Rules...if a member is being discussed they should have the right to be present.
