Guest melindafiord@sbcglobal.net
We are a small board of 6, can the person bringing the motion also vote on the motion?
jstackpo
You bet -- members make motions, vote, &c.. See RONR p. 3.

Guest Linda
Can you make a motion, it be seconded & voted on. Then someone want to re-open the discussion after it was already voted on?
Gary Novosielski
For future reference, ask new questions in a new topic.Yes, it can be re-opened at that same session with a motion to Reconsider. Only a person who voted on the prevailing side can make that motion.Afterward, at a future meeting, the motion to Amend Something Previously Adopted could be used. But you didn't say what the result was when it was voted on. If it was never adopted in the first place, it can simply be moved again at the next meeting, as if it had never been moved before.
