Guest Survivor Posted October 27, 2011 at 10:43 PM Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 at 10:43 PM Convoluted question. We have Board Members who sit on a committee that just passed some recommendations to our Board. The Board gets the final say on whether these issues get presented to the membership.Since the recommendations from the committee were almost unanimously voted for; can these Board members now change their vote when voting as a Board member or must they abide by the committees recommendations? Rob Elsman Posted October 27, 2011 at 10:49 PM Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 at 10:49 PM No rule in RONR limits how a member of an executive board can vote on recommendations of a committee of which he was a member.
