Gary Novosielski Posted November 3, 2011 at 12:53 PM Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 at 12:53 PM A tie vote means that the motion fails, just as it is with any vote that does not achieve a majority.So when a tie vote on a motion to elect someone fails, nobody was elected.
