Chris Harrison Posted November 10, 2011 at 08:09 PM Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 at 08:09 PM Only members of the body which is meeting have any right to attend. So Board members have a right to attend Board meetings and everyone else doesn't.

jstackpo Posted November 15, 2011 at 03:00 AM Report Share Posted November 15, 2011 at 03:00 AM The only "on line" edition of Robert is the 1915 (4th) edition which, clearly, doesn't have 644 pages. You need to get "The Right Book" which is the 11th edition. Noelgroup Posted November 15, 2011 at 03:43 AM Report Share Posted November 15, 2011 at 03:43 AM Buy the book - but in the meantime here it is....RONR 11th pp 644 29"Nonmembers,...... can be excluded at any time from part or all of a meeting of a society, or from all of its meetings."And unless you are in FL or another state with 'sunshine laws' or your state statutes say otherwise, executive board meetings are not open to non-board members or the public. And some states have articles that place a duty on the BOD's to make regular opportunities for members to attend for part of the meeting. But these duties are not replicated in RONR.
