Guest Anonymous poster Posted November 16, 2011 at 12:09 AM Report Share Posted November 16, 2011 at 12:09 AM Hello,If your organization's standing rules state "in order to be eligible for XXX award, ABC must be a member of club XYZ for the year in question" , does this mean they must be a member for the ENTIRE year, or only be a member by the end of the year in question, or AT the end of the year in question? Thanks for your help in advance.
jstackpo Posted November 16, 2011 at 12:16 AM Report Share Posted November 16, 2011 at 12:16 AM RONR doesn't deal with that kind of thing -- it will be up to your association to, collectively, figure out what your bylaws (or standing rules) "really" mean. P. 588 has some "how-to" suggestions in that regard.
