George Mervosh Posted December 16, 2011 at 03:46 PM Report Share Posted December 16, 2011 at 03:46 PM Under the rules in RONR, only members of the body that is meeting may vote. In your case, ask your city's solicitor/attorney, since there are likely applicable rules regarding this that take precedence over the rules in RONR. Robert B Fish Posted December 16, 2011 at 03:47 PM Report Share Posted December 16, 2011 at 03:47 PM He/she, if a member, still has all the voting privileges of other members.Your post asks if he "still" has voting prights. I assume that means he is a member of the council and is seerving as mayor during an absence. He would stil have the voting rights he had before becoming "pro tem."-Bob
