Guest Robert Lee Posted December 30, 2011 at 02:30 AM Report Share Posted December 30, 2011 at 02:30 AM In our December meeting a motion was made and seconded ,after discussion the motion carried. Here is my question. First, the motion in question was never on our printed agenda. So, can the motion even be brought up?Second, if the motion can be brought up what can I do at the next meeting to bring up that motion again and this time call for a new vote. Thank you to anyone who can help me with this problem..............Regard;s Robert

A two-thirds vote will do the trick.

A two-thirds vote will do the trick.... and with previous notice, the motion to Rescind or Amend Something Previously Adopted can be adopted by a majority vote. Furthermore, it can be adopted by a vote of a majority of the ENTIRE membership.
