Chris Harrison Posted January 4, 2012 at 10:23 PM Report Share Posted January 4, 2012 at 10:23 PM If the treasurers term is up. What is the procedure if nobody runs for that office ?That depends on how the term of office is defined in the bylaws. If they define it as a fixed term and/or until their successor is elected then the Treasurer continues in office until someone is elected. If the bylaws just specify a fixed term without any and/or language then the office falls vacant when the term expires. In either case you all need to find someone to serve because either you all will be functioning without a Treasurer or you have someone in the office who probably doesn't want to keep the office (otherwise he probably would have ran for it).
