Guest HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATIONS Posted February 6, 2012 at 06:32 PM Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 at 06:32 PM Can a board be the sole nominating committee when it comes to the election of board members?
Chris Harrison Posted February 6, 2012 at 06:48 PM Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 at 06:48 PM Nothing in RONR would prohibit that. However, keep in mind that the nominating committee presents their nominees to the body which does the electing but the committee doesn't do the electing themselves. Guest Edgar Posted February 6, 2012 at 07:29 PM Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 at 07:29 PM And keep in mind that, after the nominating committee makes its report, individual members can make nominations "from the floor". So you could say that each member could constitute a nominating committee of one.
